About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the PLM/PDM program and its various associated sub-projects
  • Coordinate business, IT, business project management support (AMOA), partner, and external vendor teams
  • Gather, formalize, and challenge business requirements, including data models, processes, and specifications
  • Contribute to drafting and validating functional and technical specifications
  • Contribute to defining the functional and application architecture of the solutions
  • Define and manage the PLM roadmap
  • Challenge solutions proposed by vendors and lead the resolution of gaps
  • Formalize business processes and translate them into PLM tools
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, migration, and production rollout phases
  • Organize and facilitate design workshops with stakeholders
  • Ensure the functional and application consistency of the PLM ecosystem
  • Manage interfaces and data flows between the PLM and other information systems, including ERP, MDM, CRM, and ad hoc solutions
  • Contribute to integrating the PLM with the information systems of the various entities
  • Manage functional and application enhancements, as well as their delivery schedules
  • Support teams through change management and the adoption of new solutions
  • Contribute to maintaining the solution in operational condition after go-live

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education degree from an engineering school, business school, or university
  • At least 8–10 years of experience with PLM/PDM, product development, product master data, or MDM, ideally in an industrial or luxury goods environment
  • Expertise in systems design, data modeling, and specification writing
  • Strong application architecture skills
  • Good knowledge of system exchanges and interfaces, particularly ERP–PLM, ERP–MDM, and ERP–CRM integrations
  • Experience managing complex programs and projects
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies; knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP is a plus
  • Experience with Jira or a comparable project management tool
  • Experience facilitating design workshops
  • Strong change management experience
  • Ability to challenge business processes and translate them into PLM solutions
  • Leadership, diplomacy, and excellent communication skills
  • Professional English enabling daily work in an international environment
