About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers throughout the product evaluation and integration process.
- Build strong technical relationships with customer engineering teams and architects.
- Support customers with technical troubleshooting, product implementation, and integration challenges.
- Conduct architecture reviews, schematic reviews, and design-in support.
- Deliver technical workshops and customer training sessions alongside engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Software Engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
- Partner with Sales during customer engagements by providing technical expertise and demonstrating solution value.
- Support customer deployments across North America through regular onsite visits.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Field Application Engineer, Solutions Engineer, System Architect, or Technical Support Engineer within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience supporting embedded AI or machine learning applications.
- Strong background working with semiconductor technologies and customer implementations.
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++ .
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch .
- Knowledge of embedded development environments and AI software stacks.
- Understanding of embedded systems and computer architecture is highly desirable.
- Experience providing technical support for networking or complex embedded systems is an advantage.
