About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute market growth strategies focused on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and commercial performance across New Zealand
  • Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns including TV, radio, sponsorships, digital marketing, CRM, affiliates, PR, print, and out-of-home advertising
  • Adapt global campaigns and brand messaging to fit local market trends, customer behaviour, and cultural preferences
  • Manage and optimise performance marketing activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, creative partners, production companies, and media owners
  • Lead agency selection processes, negotiations, and partnership management activities
  • Own annual marketing plans, budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and overall market performance
  • Develop local creative assets and communication strategies to strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement
  • Analyse campaign performance, ROI, CPA, and acquisition metrics to optimise future initiatives
  • Ensure all campaigns and communication activities comply with local regulatory and responsible advertising standards
  • Identify market opportunities and customer trends to improve acquisition, retention, and long-term growth strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, product, CRM, and international marketing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior marketing, commercial, or market leadership roles within high-volume B2C industries
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the online gaming or iGaming industry in New Zealand
  • Proven experience launching brands and driving business growth within the New Zealand market
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand media, advertising, and marketing landscape
  • Experience managing relationships with agencies, media owners, and creative production partners
  • Hands-on experience managing significant ATL and performance marketing budgets
  • Strong knowledge of campaign planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance optimisation
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams
  • Commercially driven mindset with strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced international environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and responsible marketing practices within regulated industries
