About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct unarmed Patrols (interior and/or exterior)
Control facility access and egress
Monitor closed circuit televisions and alarm systems
Compose reports
Deter criminal activity and misconduct
Perform duties as specified by the client
Facilitate a pleasant experience for the client and their customers through interactions
Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote physical security and safety
Observe and report suspicious activity
Provide access control for gates ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted
Manage traffic flow at gates
Maintain access log
Monitor cameras after normal working hours
Notify DPR personnel of any issues
Contribute to communication and awareness of security policies
Assist and train new staff on all security systems, SOPs, patrols, post orders, etiquette, and customer service
Oversee the Site Security Officers, enforce disciplinary measures in accordance with Salute HR policy

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or appropriate level of training per local jurisdictions
Ability to speak fluent English
Experience in customer service-related fields
Ability to handle stressful situations with tact, professionalism, and respect
Computer literacy with experience within the Microsoft Office suite
Current state-issued guard card (big plus)
Basic CPR/AED/First Aid or BHV equivalent
