About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior)
Control access and egress
Monitor closed-circuit televisions and alarm systems
Compose reports, deter criminal activity, and misconduct
Patrol exterior grounds of the facility
Provide access control for gates ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted
Manage traffic flow at gates
Maintain access log
Monitor cameras after normal working hours
Notify your Shift Lead or Supervisor of any issues
Observe and report suspicious activity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Customer service experience
Excellent computer skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
Texas Guard Card is a big plus
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs
Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs
Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
