About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and supervise the on-site Technical Operations Team
  • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance across all systems
  • Serve as the primary contact for facility operations
  • Act as the High Voltage (HV) Authorized Person
  • Provide technical coverage during critical events
  • Manage third-party service providers
  • Conduct statutory inspections and compliance testing
  • Monitor and analyze site performance metrics
  • Develop and deliver regular operational status reports
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7 years of experience in mission-critical mechanical and electrical environments
  • Proven expertise in data center operations, facility management, and high-availability systems
  • In-depth technical knowledge of UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire/life safety infrastructure
  • Formal electrical training (e.g., City & Guilds) and QQI Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate (Electrical) or equivalent certification
  • Completion of AP15 training and experience as an HV Authorized Person
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms, maintenance scheduling, and work order management systems
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and navigate electrical and mechanical spaces
