About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and supervise the on-site Technical Operations Team
Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance across all systems
Serve as the primary contact for facility operations
Act as the High Voltage (HV) Authorized Person
Provide technical coverage during critical events
Manage third-party service providers
Conduct statutory inspections and compliance testing
Monitor and analyze site performance metrics
Develop and deliver regular operational status reports
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of experience in mission-critical mechanical and electrical environments
Proven expertise in data center operations, facility management, and high-availability systems
In-depth technical knowledge of UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire/life safety infrastructure
Formal electrical training (e.g., City & Guilds) and QQI Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate (Electrical) or equivalent certification
Completion of AP15 training and experience as an HV Authorized Person
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation
Proficiency with CMMS platforms, maintenance scheduling, and work order management systems
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and navigate electrical and mechanical spaces
