About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, manage, and develop a team of engineering and technical personnel.
Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
Manage preventive maintenance, corrective work, and emergency response activities.
Conduct inspections of building systems and maintain clean, safe operating conditions.
Manage site budgets, expenses, and financial tracking.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facility operations.
Analyze technical documentation (AutoCAD, Visio) and interpret system designs.
Track and report operational metrics, site performance, and efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3+ years of experience in data center operations or critical facility environments.
High school diploma or GED plus 2+ years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or refrigeration systems (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Strong technical knowledge of data center systems, including: Generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS/STS, PDUs, Chillers, AHUs, CRAC units, cooling systems.
Building automation and control systems.
Experience with maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and system operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and observational skills.
