About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and operate all mission-critical systems including UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety, BMS, and CMMS platforms
Execute and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and Sequence of Operations (SOOs)
Monitor and respond to BMS alarms, extract trend data, and escalate issues
Conduct routine inspections and rounds to identify anomalies
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently
Supervise construction activities and vendor installations
Support internal and external audits, including SSAE16, SOC2, ISO 27001

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility operations or equivalent technical roles
Proficiency in either electrical or mechanical systems
Strong understanding of infrastructure redundancy models (N+1, 2N, ATS/STS)
Familiarity with energy efficiency principles in data center environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or AutoCAD preferred
Experience with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems
Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, working under raised floors, climbing ladders up to 16 feet
