About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, staff, and hospital personnel at assigned clinical sites
  • Support sales representatives in developing new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts
  • Provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation, and maintenance of company products
  • Provide ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding company product use, clinical applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques
  • Train physicians and staff on the use of company products
  • Provide case support, including operating room and procedure support
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D personnel to communicate product, clinical, and market information and support product improvements
  • Serve as the primary clinical support resource for troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up
  • Perform patient follow-up to support customer and patient success with implanted products
  • Visit customers and patients in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, and surgical centers
  • Set territory strategy and collaborate with regionally focused peers in clinical education and field engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment
  • 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices
  • Operating room experience
  • Clinical knowledge of company products, clinical applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques
  • Ability to provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff
  • Ability to troubleshoot, program, and support patient follow-up for implanted products
  • Ability to develop and maintain physician, hospital, and clinical-site relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to adapt strategies to new opportunities, challenges, and unexpected developments
