About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own SaltzApp expansion in your city!
  • You’ll identify and reach out to new venues, meet with chefs and managers, demonstrate how the app works, and support their orders — from cozy lunch spots to Michelin-level restaurants.
  • You’ll conduct about 10–15 meetings per week and be responsible for following up to ensure no lead is left unattended.
  • You will plan your weekly schedule (with guidance as needed) and work toward meeting or exceeding targets.
  • You’ll give chefs an in-person demo of our application in their own environment, showing how Saltz simplifies and stabilizes ordering.
  • You’ll use our CRM (don’t worry, we’ll train you!) and other tools to log progress so the whole team can support you.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have direct experience in fast-paced gastronomy environments — whether you’ve run a kitchen, managed a bar, or worked as a concierge.
  • Career changers are welcome! Sales internships or part-time customer-facing roles are a strong plus.
  • You enjoy being out in the field, entering kitchens, and building face-to-face relationships with chefs and managers.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You are comfortable leading conversations.
  • You know how to listen, solve problems, and confidently close deals.
  • Bonus: fluent in additional languages besides German or English.

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • 30 days of paid time off — because recharging is part of performing at your best.
  • Front-row access to the gastronomy world: from new restaurant openings and tastings to pop-up events, you’ll be closely connected to the industry you’re selling to.
  • The hardware you need to get started.
  • A company card to cover commuting costs (€400 per month).
  • Autonomy and trust to manage your own workflow.
  • Work with and be supported by mature, intelligent, entrepreneurial, and fun people who are leading experts in their fields and passionate about the industry.
  • A great place to build your first sales career: you’ll learn by doing, hit real milestones, and be surrounded by colleagues who have done it before.
