Key responsibilities & impact

Own the operations platform backlog and roadmap end-to-end, translating operational needs from CS, Collections, and back-office into a prioritized development plan
Lead large, cross-functional platform initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration
Conduct business and systems analysis focused on IT integration within banking, including CRM, ticketing, workflow/automation, and back-office systems
Make architecture-level trade-offs balancing development cost, technical debt, and business impact
Produce BRDs, FSDs, specifications, user stories, test cases, and use cases
Define platform metrics, analyze operational and adoption data, and recommend priorities
Own testing strategy, run UAT, and collaborate with development teams
Investigate platform incidents and escalations, identify root causes, and drive lasting system fixes
Manage changes end-to-end, aligning product and engineering and accepting deliverables
Align operations, product, and engineering priorities with senior stakeholders and mentor junior analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst in fintech, banking, or a digital company
Track record with internal platforms or operational systems
Proven ownership of large, cross-functional initiatives from discovery through post-launch iteration with minimal supervision
Experience modeling and re-engineering complex business processes using BPMN, user flows, and use cases
Strong understanding of CRM, ticketing, workflow/automation, and back-office integrations via APIs and data flows
Ability to evaluate architecture-level trade-offs involving development costs, technical debt, and business objectives
Confident SQL skills
Experience with BI dashboards such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar
Ability to define metrics and independently validate hypotheses
Strong requirements documentation skills, including BRDs, FSDs, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
Senior stakeholder management across operations, product, and engineering
English B2+
Nice to have: regulated-environment experience, credit lifecycle knowledge, Jira/Confluence, workflow/automation or low-code platform exposure, and mentoring experience
