About the role
- Robotic process automation development, including interaction with subject matter experts for gathering requirements, preparing current state documentation, solution design, debugging, user acceptance testing and implementation into production environment.
- Prepares detailed specifications, develops processes, generic reusable components, visual basic objects based on the business needs.
- Timely delivery of automation projects assigned, using best practices.
- Provides periodic status on progress of development.
- Responsible for monitoring the health of robots in production.
- Heavy interaction with business teams across the organization.
- Maintains legacy Access databases for user community with data housed in Oracle, iSeries and external sources.
- Troubleshoots and resolves user errors.
- Manage, identify, and ensure all financial risks are mitigated and compliant with SOX requirements.
- Additionally, ensure process narrative documentation is current and accurately describes the process.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of prior software development experience required.
- Experience in Blue Prism or UiPath RPA development preferred.
- Experience in RPA solution design with demonstrated understanding of business processes and building process flow diagrams (Visio, IBM Blueworks, etc) preferred.
- Experience automating mainframe and web applications
- Experience monitoring RPA automations in production preferred
- Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Finance, Accounting modules within an ERP
- Experience writing SQL queries and connecting to SQL databases, Oracle queries and configuring ODBCs
- Advanced Microsoft Access and Excel experience
