About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end presales engagements for Professional Services, partnering with Account Executives and Solution Engineers to win new services business
- Own the development of compelling proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), Discussion Documents (DDs), and solution narratives tailored to customer needs
- Drive executive-level conversations with C-suite stakeholders, positioning Salesforce PS as a strategic delivery partner
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Agentforce — including autonomous agents, prompt engineering, and AI-powered workflows — and articulate the services delivery approach for AI-led transformations
- Bring deep knowledge of Industry Clouds (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, etc.) to advise customers on industry-specific implementations
- Design high-level solution architectures and implementation roadmaps that align to customer business outcomes
- Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders across IT, business, and the C-suite
- Conduct discovery workshops, solution presentations, and executive briefings
- Translate complex business requirements into practical, value-driven Salesforce PS engagement models
- Shape services deals commercially — including scoping, effort estimation, pricing strategy, and risk framing
- Partner with Delivery Assurance and Commercial teams to ensure deals are set up for successful execution
- Maintain a strong pipeline hygiene and contribute to accurate services revenue forecasting
- Represent Salesforce PS at customer events, industry forums, and Salesforce flagship events (Dreamforce, World Tour, etc.)
- Mentor and coach junior presales team members, elevating the overall team capability
- Contribute to the development of reusable presales assets, playbooks, and point-of-view documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with at least 5+ years in a presales, solution consulting, or advisory role
- Demonstrated expertise with Salesforce Agentforce or AI/automation platforms and the ability to articulate AI-led services delivery models
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Industry Clouds — hands-on or advisory experience across at least 2 industry verticals
- Proven track record of winning large, complex Professional Services engagements
- Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen — experience shaping SOWs, pricing models, and risk frameworks
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
