Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the Program Coordinator to support and place Peer Support Specialists with mental health and recovery providers
Active recruitment of potential participants in collaboration with health partners
Conduct online interviews with participants
Facilitate group meetings throughout the recruitment, training, and placement processes
Support participants through mentorship and monitor individual progress
Collaborate with community partners for placement sites
Document all client interactions into the LMS
Coordinate meetings for participants and graduates

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Degree or equivalent
Lived experience as a consumer of mental health and/or recovery services
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Bilingual is preferable
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
Strong organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and task-oriented.
Clear California Driver’s License
