About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with strategic and high-priority customers to assess Industry Cloud implementations
- Deliver recommendations on technical architecture, solution design, application lifecycle management, reliability, and feature adoption
- Serve as a subject matter expert across designated Industry Clouds
- Provide proactive and reactive guidance on architecture, technology strategy, thought leadership, and product best practices
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical teams and executive leadership
- Identify capability gaps and design inefficiencies
- Recommend product enhancements or creative custom solutions
- Tailor Success Architect playbooks to Industry Cloud customer challenges
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive customer success and product improvement
- Resolve immediate technical challenges with support engineers and identify root causes
- Partner with customer success managers on strategic guidance and long-term technology health
- Liaise with product teams to surface customer feedback for product improvements
- Assess system performance, optimize efficiency and reliability, identify risks, and recommend improvements
- Provide data-driven insights on customer success stories and industry trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture
- Expertise in Salesforce products, platform capabilities, technical governance, and best practices
- Experience with large-scale, complex implementations, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration, process orchestration, master data management, AI, analytics, and security best practices
- Ability to assess business objectives, propose solution options, and drive stakeholder alignment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences
- Skill in creating clear, visually compelling design documents
- Proven ability to lead discussions, influence decision-making, and advocate for best practices
- Ability to identify design inefficiencies, recommend optimizations, and drive customer transformation
- Ability to provide data-driven insights on customer success stories and industry trends
- Passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies
- Expertise in role hierarchy, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and security configurations
- Ability to design scalable, high-performance Salesforce architectures, including Large Data Volume considerations
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Familiarity with Salesforce governor limits and efficient code execution practices
- Proficiency in data models, validation rules, and data governance
- Experience with data import/export, ETL tools, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and MuleSoft
- Understanding of APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with OAuth, Platform Events, External Objects, and Salesforce Connect
- OmniStudio experience highly desirable
- Highly desired certifications: Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Advanced Admin, Certified Architect credentials, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, and an Accredited Professional credential in an Industry Cloud specialization
- Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus but not required
