About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)
Prepare consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet fluctuation analyses for management reporting
Provide analysis of financial results to management (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Perform internal control procedures and maintain compliance with SOX
Partner with internal and external business partners (domestic and international) to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Drive to continuously create efficiencies by identifying and implementing process improvements, automation, and AI tools
Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA in Accounting Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
3+ years of overall general accounting experience; high tech industry & public accounting experience a plus
Strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Table & VLOOKUP experience) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Ability and willingness to meet critical business deadlines
Strong time management, organizational, and ownership skills
