Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices
Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows
Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context
Critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance
Lead the architectural strategy for the Event Technology and websites portfolio
Strategically plan, design, and execute the implementation of highly scalable solutions
Collaborate with Architects, Lead Engineers, Product, UX, and cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of professional software development experience
A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering
Proven experience leveraging AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) in daily workflows
Advanced prompt engineering skills
Proven experience in a technical leadership role
Strong understanding and embodiment of service ownership principles
Proven ability to mentor team members
Experience developing front-end and back-end software, including JavaScript with TypeScript
Experience building high-scale microservices on AWS (preferred), GCP, or other public cloud substrates
Expertise in consuming (and ideally building) GraphQL and RESTful APIs
