About the role
- Provide comprehensive program operations support across internal planning teams, key collaborators, and external event agencies and vendors.
- Assist in overall project management for all core program functions.
- Track progress against milestones, workback schedules, and program deadlines across all areas, while consistently providing project updates to various collaborators.
- Manage meetings and agendas for specific event program elements, documenting all discussions and tracking actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, including creative services, product marketing, and marketing operations, to successfully implement programs.
- Create, update, and maintain pre-event planning decks, spreadsheets, documents, and post-event summary decks for all collaborators.
- Optimize and improve processes and templates for streamlined collaboration across teams.
- Provide pre-event and onsite event support, including other duties as assigned by the director of the group.
Requirements
- Results-focused, customer-driven, with strong organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects, consistently meeting deadlines, and working in a highly cross-functional, collaborative organization.
- Flexible, with the ability to work well with ambiguity and the capability to jump into and between projects as needed, proactively offering assistance where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of professional experience, including experience working on large-scale conference and event programs (preferably in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment).
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally to support onsite event logistics (40-50% travel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of budget management.
- Willingness to build new skills and accept new challenges.
- Comfort with and interest in program analysis, measurement, reporting, and pipeline impact.
- Proficiency with the Google office suite, including Sheets, Slides, GCal.
