About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with key stakeholders and Chief Procurement Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy.
- Continuously assess and adjust the strategy to respond to market dynamics and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, pricing, and performance.
- Drive agentic transformation and process streamlining in Sourcing & Procurement organizations
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain visibility, flexibility, and responsiveness.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in procurement leadership roles with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Strategic and transformational thinker.
- Experience with process automation and agentic transformation
- Adept at navigating and building relationships in large, matrixed organizations.
- Ability to influence senior management and key stakeholders by communicating the org’s vision and accomplishments.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with procurement software and data analytics tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong communication, executive engagement, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement practices.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
