About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review complex agreements and perform independent accounting research
- Diagnose accounting and financial reporting outcomes
- Research accounting questions raised by the controllership
- Coach and train junior personnel
- Engage with external auditors and proactively clear material accounting conclusions
- Maintain documentation meeting SOX controls
- Assess transactions for accounting and reporting implications
- Support key financial reporting functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- CPA strongly desired
- 5+ years combined Big 4 and Industry experience
- Relevant experience in financial statement review and technical accounting research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills including planning, task assignment, status tracking and reporting
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Great teammate flexible with changing roles and responsibilities
- Openness and inclination to leverage AI in daily tasks
