About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and operate mission critical networking services for Salesforce’s massive public cloud footprint
  • Lead the development of critical infrastructure services including next-gen Dual-Stack IPAM
  • Transform how our services connect by reducing reliance on complex intermediaries
  • Drive the adoption of IPv6-native and dual-stack architectures
  • Leverage and contribute to cutting-edge projects to build observability and control into the network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of proven experience designing, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems
  • Expert-level coding in Golang, Python, or C/C++ in a Linux/UNIX environment
  • Proven experience building and operating resilient, high-availability services at scale
  • Advanced knowledge of IP networking and cloud-native networking primitives
  • Experience owning mission critical services, including designing for Disaster Recovery and multi-region failover
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with a commitment to Test-Driven Development and high code quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A related Technical degree required
