About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a strategic architecture advisor across the full customer lifecycle, spanning presales, solution shaping, delivery guidance, and post-sales advisory.
  • Help customers translate complex business transformation goals into scalable, secure, and implementable enterprise solutions across MuleSoft, Salesforce, and adjacent enterprise platforms.
  • Define target-state architectures, guide integration and platform strategy, and influence critical technology decisions.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, design reviews, and customer strategy discussions.
  • Partner with sales, account, and delivery teams to shape complex opportunities, respond to RFPs and RFIs, support effort estimation and feasibility analysis, and define differentiated technical strategies for high-value engagements.
  • Present solution direction with credibility to both executive and technical audiences.
  • Define high-level and detailed architectures using API-led connectivity, event-driven and service-based integration patterns, data movement strategies, and interoperability models.
  • Create compelling solution narratives, reference architectures, architecture decision points, and proof-of-concept approaches that clearly connect business outcomes to technology design.
  • Review and validate architectures for scalability, resilience, security, performance, maintainability, supportability, and operational fit.
  • Guide integration and architecture strategies across enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Work closely with implementation and delivery teams to ensure proposed architectures are practical, implementable, and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Coach architects, consultants, and delivery teams on integration architecture, Salesforce architecture fundamentals, API strategy, design standards, and architecture review practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, enterprise architects, program sponsors, and technical leaders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise integration, technical consulting, or large-scale platform implementation roles.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise integration architecture, API-led connectivity, system interoperability, data movement, and modern architecture patterns for complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on and architectural experience with MuleSoft as a primary integration platform, including API strategy, runtime architecture, platform governance, and implementation best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce architecture, including platform fundamentals, integration patterns, security and access design, governance considerations, data architecture awareness, and solution design best practices for enterprise implementations.
  • Proven customer-facing experience in presales, advisory, or architecture leadership roles, with the ability to shape opportunities, conduct discovery, develop proposals, and guide strategic technical decisions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based architectural principles, including SaaS and PaaS models, multitenant platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise application design considerations.
  • Ability to identify technical design risks, define governance strategies, and guide teams toward scalable and supportable implementation outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and demonstrate strong executive presence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
