About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute a strategic territory plan across Government and Education accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
- Identify growth opportunities across new and existing customers.
- Manage full sales cycles from pipeline generation through to close, including navigating procurement processes across public sector organisations.
- Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, aligning Tableau solutions to organisational priorities across government and education sectors.
- Position Tableau within broader data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives, demonstrating value through actionable insights and improved decision-making.
- Partner with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem to deliver impactful customer engagements.
- Collaborate with systems integrators and partners across ANZ to support deal execution and customer success.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning using Salesforce.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven success in consultative, solution-based sales with a track record of exceeding targets
- Experience selling into Public Sector and/or Education organisations is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple accounts across a broad geographic territory (ANZ)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both business and technical audiences
- Experience navigating procurement processes within government or large institutions
- Familiarity with data, analytics, or enterprise software solutions (BI, cloud, SaaS)
- Highly organised with strong territory planning and pipeline management capabilities
- Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
