About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute a strategic territory plan across Government and Education accounts in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Identify growth opportunities across new and existing customers.
  • Manage full sales cycles from pipeline generation through to close, including navigating procurement processes across public sector organisations.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, aligning Tableau solutions to organisational priorities across government and education sectors.
  • Position Tableau within broader data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives, demonstrating value through actionable insights and improved decision-making.
  • Partner with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem to deliver impactful customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with systems integrators and partners across ANZ to support deal execution and customer success.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning using Salesforce.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven success in consultative, solution-based sales with a track record of exceeding targets
  • Experience selling into Public Sector and/or Education organisations is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts across a broad geographic territory (ANZ)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both business and technical audiences
  • Experience navigating procurement processes within government or large institutions
  • Familiarity with data, analytics, or enterprise software solutions (BI, cloud, SaaS)
  • Highly organised with strong territory planning and pipeline management capabilities
  • Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
