About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer facing communication
  • Respond to Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) documents
  • Manage customer engagements without support for your assigned accounts and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the wider Salesforce Data Foundations and Core teams, along with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing functions to continuously improve Informatica’s products, use case positioning and marketing outcomes
  • Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within your primary areas of responsibility
  • Stay current on certification of services required for your areas of responsibility
  • Partner with the Customer Success team on nurture activities for consumption and adoption support, including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
  • Provide customer feedback on product direction
  • Support CxO events, presentations and demos at marketing events without support.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
  • Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products.
  • Strong communication skills to support presentations, storytelling, and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects specific to our Go-To-Market use cases
  • Experience engaging and creating relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) and to work flexible hours
  • Relevant experience in data integration, master data management, data governance products is highly preferred
  • Certification or working knowledge of Cloud ecosystems / data related Cloud technology (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure) is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing security aspects is desirable
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
