About the role
- Own and execute customer acquisition strategies for leading transformation programmes across the Public Safety and Justice agencies in Australia and New Zealand identifying strategic funded priorities, generating demand and operating as an advocate for the capabilities & proven track record of Salesforce within the sector.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision makers and leadership across public safety and justice agencies.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders including, Regional Sales Leadership, Strategic Account Executives and Solution Engineers, to develop a clear vision and transformation roadmap for our customers.
- Support the nurture and advancement of opportunities working alongside the account teams & solution delivery partners through to contract award and successful programme delivery.
- Develop and own a detailed business development strategy focused on the top public safety and justice executives and transformation areas where Salesforce can bring value in Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop and activate the narrative and point of view for where & how Salesforce can support the transformation of the public safety and justice missions.
- Partner closely with the product development and marketing organisations to help guide Public Sector product direction and production of sales plays for any country specific needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior experience in the Australian or New Zealand Public Safety and Justice sector.
- Proven track record and success with transformation initiatives and understanding of processes behind specific public safety and justice mission outcomes.
- Passionate about the use of digital technology to improve the operator experience.
- Strong external networking and internal collaboration skills.
- Relentless focus on turning strategy to execution measured by customer success and revenue impact.
- A compelling communicator, both written for articulation of business cases & points of view and verbal for internal & external stakeholder presentations.
