About the role
- Contribute to the architecture, implementation, and deployment of accurate, reliable, scalable, compliant, and trusted enterprise-grade Agentforce solutions.
- Design intelligent agents and supporting components leveraging LLMs, prompt engineering, integration technologies, and orchestration frameworks.
- Remain current on the cutting edge of AI technologies and patterns and incorporate them into the Activation Team’s work by example and through instruction.
- Define reusable patterns and implementations for agent skills, guardrails, and multi-agent collaboration and contemporary developments in the field of AI.
- Drive key integrations across Salesforce product clouds and external systems.
- Contribute to performance optimization, monitoring, and telemetry frameworks to achieve reference architectures for observability.
- Build new and exciting components in an ever-growing and evolving market technology to provide scale and efficiency.
- Make, document, and advocate design decisions on the basis of performance, maintainability, trust, scalability, and growth.
- Apply Agentforce and AI solutions to optimize core Service Cloud and Field Service processes, such as intelligent case deflection, predictive maintenance, and autonomous work order scheduling.
- Drive agent design, prompt strategies, and skill orchestration.
- Build reusable accelerators and deployment frameworks.
- Mentor newer Solution Engineers and Architects on Agentforce capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a technical pre-sales or consulting role, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce D360 (formerly Data Cloud)
- Deep experience and expertise with Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning implementations.
- Understanding and experience in working on distributed systems
- Understanding of modern AI (including but not limited to LLMs, regression models, statistical models, human-in-the-loop, fine-tuning, prompt and context engineering, MCP, A2A)
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful services
- Understanding of vibe coding and its place in modern software development (e.g., Claude code, Cursor, rulesets, and supporting patterns)
- Experience with RAG architectures
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure - AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience integrating LLMs and AI services into enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions.
- Security concepts (mTLS, PKI, OAuth/SAML etc)
- Experience with open source projects and community development
- Demonstrated experience learning new technologies quickly.
