About the role

  • Create documentation and content experiences that empower customers to maximize use of Salesforce Flow
  • Deliver in-app assistance, guides, interactive Trailhead training, and videos tailored for administrators, users, and developers
  • Work in an Agile environment and collaborate closely with writers, product managers, engineers, and the UX team
  • Innovate content strategies to ensure the right information reaches users when they need it
  • Support customers and collaborate with the team through regular office visits (minimum 10 visits per quarter)
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional writing or communications experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technology or software company
  • Ability to craft clear, concise, and user-friendly content, adjusting tone and style based on the audience
  • Quick comprehension of complex technologies and the ability to explain them effectively
  • Curiosity and a knack for improving existing processes
  • High standards of quality with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Proficiency in developing content plans for products
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with source control software like Perforce or Git (desired)
  • Experience with XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen (desired)
  • Knowledge of API documentation best practices (desired)
  • Familiarity with DITA and structured authoring methodologies (desired)
  • Experience in Agile development environments (desired)
  • Background in customer service or working with customer service applications (desired)
  • Exposure to AI technologies (desired)
  • Must be able to visit company offices a minimum of 10 times per quarter (hybrid attendance requirement)
