About the role

  • Align innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts and partner with clients
  • Collaborate with internal team members and C-level client contacts to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions
  • Work on business development, operations and IT strategies, and deliver executive-level product demonstrations
  • Take ambiguous and sophisticated business problems, define the problem, drive innovative ideas and recommend practical next steps
  • Communicate and evaluate solution options, drive consensus, and help develop decision frameworks and governance processes
  • Demonstrate connected experiences through software demos and rapid prototyping, including executive-level demonstrations
  • Assist the customer, Account Executive and Professional Services with discovery, analysis and recommendation of strategic solutions
  • Discover customer business needs, and position the best Salesforce solution to achieve those objectives
  • Build and present customized solutions and demonstrations focused on Salesforce products to multiple customer personas
  • Convey a deep understanding of the customer's architecture as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions and develop long-term IT roadmaps
  • Orchestrate and lead cross-functional solutions guides and align them to the opportunity strategy
  • Develop and deliver the story of the customer experience aided by Salesforce technologies
  • Participate in product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain necessary knowledge
  • Travel as required based on territory alignment and region

Requirements

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
  • Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region
  • Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Preferred: Salesforce Certifications
  • Preferred: Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology
