About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and provide technical reports for all Fenestration Field Testing efforts while complying with all industry testing standards
  • Lead and mentor assistant technicians with all testing
  • Assist with the proper setup and removal of all testing equipment
  • Always establish and maintain a safe working environment
  • Use power and hand tools to construct items needed in the testing process
  • Provide excellent customer service and detailed technical reports for each testing procedure
  • Travel is a requirement (up to 50%)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Construction experience is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints (A Plus)
  • Ability to use measuring devices and make precise cuts to wood using hand and power tools
  • Ability to formulate and solve simple mathematical equations
  • Possess basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fenestration Associate Certification is required
  • OSHA 10 for Construction Certification is required
