About the role
- Oversee commissioning projects from pre‑construction through close‑out
- Manage client relationships and support regional business growth
- Act as a people manager for assigned team members
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and project team members
- Develop commissioning scopes of work and fee proposals
- Develop project-specific test scripts and execute commissioning tests onsite
- Monitor project performance, financials, and schedules
- Facilitate commissioning meetings and distribute meeting minutes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 15+ years of equivalent experience in MEP construction, commissioning, and project management
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Certification in Building Commissioning required
- Project Management certification preferred
- OSHA 10‑hour and 30‑hour Construction Safety training preferred
- Proven project management experience
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems preferred
- Field experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Ability to read, understand, and act on project financial information
