About the role
- Serve as the primary client contact and commissioning authority on assigned projects
- Lead commissioning strategy for complex and multi‑system projects from pursuit through warranty
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and technical credibility
- Develop commissioning scopes of work, schedules, and fee estimates for proposals and active projects
- Oversee development of commissioning plans, test procedures, and documentation, including: Pre‑Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Performance Tests (FPTs), Integrated Systems Tests (ISTs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10–12 years of progressive experience in commissioning, MEP construction, or project management OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex commissioning projects independently
- Project Management certification preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Building Commissioning certification preferred
- OSHA 10‑hour Construction Safety and NFPA‑70E preferred
