- Drive envelope commissioning projects, developing specifications, checklists, and quality standards that set industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate on design reviews to ensure constructability, durability, and long-term project success.
- Identify building enclosure challenges, propose effective solutions, and work closely with contractors and specialists to implement them.
- Oversee and actively participate in enclosure testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project goals.
- Monitor installation through inspections and testing, safeguarding quality and performance from start to finish.
- Engage in construction meetings and collaborate with project teams, making a tangible impact on project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in architecture, engineering, or construction management
- A minimum of 10+ years of building envelope construction and/or consulting experience would be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- 5+ years of experience in building enclosure systems
- Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and design principles
- Skilled in tracking project costs, billings, and budgets to ensure financial accuracy
- Experienced in preparing proposals and establishing service fees
- Roofing or building enclosure credentials are a plus
- Engineering or architecture licensure is a plus
