About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards in the workplace and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Deliver regular training to employees on safe practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, analyze their causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Identify, assess, and control occupational hazards, proposing preventive measures to ensure employee safety.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations, staying up to date with any changes in legislation.
  • Supervise the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure its availability to employees.
  • Collaborate with other company departments to integrate safe practices across all corporate operations.
  • Prepare and review technical documents (such as PGR (Risk Management Program) and LTCAT (Technical Report on Working Environment Conditions)), support inspections, and assist with health and safety campaigns.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety (Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho) with certificate of completion.
  • Previous experience as an Occupational Safety Technician.
  • Practical knowledge in risk assessment, accident analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of SOC.
