About the role
- Lead and support asset protection efforts across assigned stores to minimize theft, fraud, and operational losses.
- Partner with store management teams to ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other suspicious activities; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
- Analyze exception and incident reports to identify trends and develop proactive strategies.
- Train and mentor store asset protection staff on security best practices and corporate standards.
- Serve as a resource for store teams on asset protection policies, emergency response, and safety procedures.
- Monitor and manage operational risk through consistent communication and collaboration across stores.
- Prepare and present reports on asset protection activities, investigations, and outcomes to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in asset protection or loss prevention, preferably in a multi-store or retail environment.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel regularly to assigned store locations.
- Familiarity with physical security technology and safety protocols is a plus.
