About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve LAP business objectives and expand market share in Chennai.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of LAP Sales Executives to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to LAP sales.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training and development for the sales team.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role specifically within the Loan Against Property (LAP) sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Chennai real estate market and LAP product offerings.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English and Tamil is essential.
