About the role

  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts
  • Plan and execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, exploratory)
  • Analyze failures, track and document bugs
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics (defects, coverage, production incidents)
  • Contribute to test strategy and architectural decisions
  • Ensure QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Act as an advocate for agile culture across teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a QA
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field
  • Experience testing web applications and APIs (front-end and back-end)
  • Experience creating and executing manual tests, including test cases, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Knowledge of BDD and test scenario modeling
  • Ability to manage bugs and follow the defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience validating APIs with Postman
  • Knowledge of test automation with Cypress (JavaScript)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL Server
  • Experience with version control using Git (Bitbucket)
  • Ability to analyze logs for troubleshooting
