About the role

  • Build & Lead a High-Performing Team
  • Hire, train, and retain the brightest pre-sales talent in the industry.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through active coaching and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team's sales, product, and technology skills.
  • Establish and manage a strong operational rhythm for the team including territory planning, account strategy, resource allocation, and ensuring your team is effectively demonstrating the value of SailPoint.
  • Work in lockstep with Regional Sales Directors on account planning, strategy, and execution.
  • Act as the voice of the field, providing timely and insightful feedback to our Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams to influence the future direction of our platform.
  • Confidently represent SailPoint in front of technical and business audiences, influencing their perspective on identity security.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience leading Solution Engineering (pre-sales) teams within a fast-paced software or SaaS organization.
  • 6-8 years of experience in pre-sales or leading technical teams within a revenue-focused organization.
  • A Bachelor’s in Computer Science is preferred but not required or equivalent real-world experience.
  • While not required, an understanding of the solutions, market dynamics, and best practices in the Identity Security market is a significant plus.
