About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide exceptional evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults via (15 hours or more per week)
- Conduct clinical assessments and intake evaluations using geriatric tools
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with company policies (assisted by our AI-powered scribe)
- Support clients through life transitions (retirement, bereavement, isolation) using a compassionate and age-appropriate approach
- Participate in regular team meetings to ensure best practices
- Support clients through therapy life transitions, such as retirement, loss of independence, or bereavement, using a compassionate and age-appropriate approach.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to support the Sailor Health team on a contract, part-time, or full-time basis (at least 15 hours per week)
- PSYPACT authorization (APIT) to practice across participating states
- Degree in Clinical Psychology: either Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Experience working with older adults strongly preferred
- Proficient using electronic health records (EHR) and using delivering therapy via telehealth
