About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engineer the global regulatory roadmap for customs and global freight compliance
Own all customs entries, ATA Carnets, temporary import bonds, and biosecurity protocols
Co-lead advanced border agency engagements to safeguard the global event timeline
Collaborate with engineering design and procurement to map customs profiles
Oversee strategy and financial underwriting for ATA Carnets and specialized maritime declarations
Ensure compliance with local environmental protection agencies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Authority on border integrity, international trade regulations, and global transit compliance
Experience in operating as Importer of Record via proprietary charter vessel
Ability to lead advance conversations with customs authorities, border forces, and port officials
Knowledge of operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Experience in compliance paperwork, visas, and port-authority clearances
Understanding of high-tech asset classification and hazardous materials compliance
Proven ability to manage complex documentation for specialized technical cargo
Experience in agricultural and biosecurity entry requirements for high-risk regions
Skills in managing international bond architecture and customs brokers
