About the role

  • Identify sales regions/local markets with growth potential based on a holistic assessment of market opportunities and risks and a thorough market analysis that takes into account competitor data, economic, demographic and other relevant information.
  • Achieve the required network expansion (from strategy to implementation) in Germany to increase MG Motor's profitability and volume growth in line with the company's business model and volume targets.
  • Identify and recruit strategic network sales partners and authorized workshops; manage the entire process from first contact to start of operations, including negotiations on contractual terms and MG sales standards (Sales and Aftersales), the internal approval process and monitoring the implementation of the agreed business plan.
  • Together with the sales team, continuously manage the sales partner network in Germany, ensuring compliance with standards, training, customer experience and complaint management.
  • Continuously monitor the retail network's performance using a set of defined KPIs, including the sales and operational performance of retail partners and adherence to retail standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and initiate appropriate measures to continuously enhance the retail network's performance.
  • Support the rollout of MG Financial & Mobility Services in coordination with the regional MG sales team and work closely with the operations team to ensure a high level of sales efficiency across the dealer/partner network.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years in an automotive sales organization (OEM or large dealer groups).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in dealer network development in Germany.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
  • Relevant experience in the automotive industry in developing dealer/sales networks.
  • Independent and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • German language skills (spoken and written) at native level.
  • Fluent English.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%.
