About the role

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Manage identity, access, and authentication, including MFA, Conditional Access, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle management
  • Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment
  • Participate in and execute tenant-to-tenant initiatives, including:
  • User, group, and identity migrations
  • SharePoint, OneDrive, and storage migrations
  • Device migrations and Intune re-enrollment strategies
  • New tenant creation, baseline configuration, and hardening
  • Assist with multi-tenant environments, including cross-tenant access, B2B collaboration
  • Administer and support security tooling, with support from security partner MSP\SOC including:
  • Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Email)
  • CrowdStrike Falcon
  • Zscaler (remote access and SaaS security)
  • Qualys vulnerability management
  • Proofpoint email security
  • Monitor system health, security alerts, and service availability; investigate and remediate issues as needed.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for users and devices
  • Assist with documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures
  • Support IT leadership with cloud initiatives, security improvements, and operational projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration or cloud administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Working knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity security
  • Experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune in a cloud-only or hybrid environment
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant Microsoft environments, including migrations and cross-tenant collaboration
  • Experience supporting remote users in a SaaS-based environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, endpoint, application, and security domains
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset
  • Highly preferred candidates also have:
  • Experience performing user, device, and data migrations between Microsoft tenants
  • Experience configuring new Microsoft 365 tenants from baseline through production
  • PowerShell scripting, AI or automation experience
  • Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments
