About the role

  • Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer with expertise in SQL Server, .Net Core, Microservices, Node.js, React Redux, Azure, GCP, and Java. The ideal candidate will also have experience with BPM tools, Rules Engines, Function Apps, Blob storage, MongoDB, and architectural patterns including Microservices-driven and Event-Driven Architecture. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Your day-to-day at Sagent: Software Development & Design: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Java, Node.js, .NET Core, and React Redux
  • Develop and deploy Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture to enhance modularity and responsiveness
  • Utilize cloud platforms (Azure and GCP) for application deployment, management, and scaling
  • Integrate MongoDB for efficient and scalable NoSQL database solutions
  • Incorporate BPM and Rules Engine technologies into workflow and business logic implementations
  • System Improvement and Monitoring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for system improvements, ensuring successful implementation and monitoring to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Collaborate with team members, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline with 5 - 7 years of experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Java, Microservices, Node.js, React Redux, and .NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure and GCP
  • Familiarity with BPM, Rules Engines, Function Apps, Blob storage, MongoDB
  • Ability to determine systems software design requirements and contribute to the development of engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure successful implementation and monitoring of system improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and across departments.
  • Preferred Skills: CI/CD pipelines and DevOps; Docker & Kubernetes; Agile/Scrum; RESTful APIs and web services
