Develop, implement and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans to achieve new patient goals.
Plan and execute local community events (tabletop events, health fairs, partnerships with local food banks) targeting Medicare-eligible seniors (typically 55+).
Generate leads by prospecting and building relationships with seniors, community partners, contracted plan agents and independent brokers.
Cultivate relationships with contracted health plan agents, independent brokers, senior housing leaders, senior recreation centers, local churches, and other community organizations.
Educate potential patients on services at local events and through health agents; provide personalized tours of centers and introduce prospects to PCPs and staff.
Deliver high level of sales and customer service to prospects, patients, health agents and community partners.
Nurture ongoing relationships with patients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings (local, regional and/or national) and share sales plans and results.
Report to Area Sales Manager and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Insurance brokers with Medicare and Medicare Advantage knowledge preferred.
Experience working with and selling to the senior population in the community preferred.
Consultative Selling - qualifies potential customers, builds rapport and establishes trust.
Healthcare knowledge a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
