Senior Project Manager
SafetyChain SoftwareSenior Project Manager managing client onboarding and expansion projects for SafetyChain Software. Leading a cross-functional team to ensure efficient implementation of SaaS solutions in the Food & Beverage industry.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As part of the Professional Services team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing new client onboarding, current client expansions, and special projects as they arise, with a focus on complex and enterprise level projects.
- Each project opportunity includes defining the project objectives and success criteria, assessing and documenting scope, executing project deliverables, communicating with our customers’ project teams, coordinating the efforts of cross-functional team members internally, and generally overseeing quality control throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for assisting the PM team manager with training, development, and mentoring of team members, assisting with creating and updating standards and processes and collaborating with the PM team manager to track and improve team performance toward meeting department and team KPIs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager/Project Manager in a food/beverage manufacturing plant.
- Direct plant floor experience is required.
- Experience deploying SaaS software for manufacturing companies, particularly Food & Beverage manufacturing.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio).
- Ability to bring projects in on-time and on-budget, while communicating and resolving issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Self-starter with strong motivation to succeed.
- Committed to customer satisfaction and a passion for customer success.
- Ability to work independently and through teams, at multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and handle issues/escalations under pressure, and manage multiple projects.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Creative, consultative, and a strong communicator.
- Eagerness to learn new skills, grow professionally, and take on new challenges.
- Ability to travel to customer sites (25%).
