About the role

  • Architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications using TypeScript with Playwright and WebDriverIO
  • Implement and evolve test approaches across functional, regression, integration, UI, performance, and load testing layers
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
  • Analyze performance testing using JMeter and proactively identify bottlenecks
  • Own test case traceability using Xray and drive release testing from inception through delivery
  • Serve as a technical go-to person for automation and tooling
  • Support observability, diagnostics, and issue triage in production environments alongside DevOps and Product teams
  • Test data-warehouse and analytics pipelines, reviewing transformations and metric logic
  • Perform data-quality validation
  • Collaborate with data engineering on data contracts

Requirements

  • 8+ years in QA
  • 3+ years as an SDET with demonstrated senior-level ownership of automation and delivery
  • Expertise in automated testing and framework design
  • Strong TypeScript skills
  • Experience in Playwright and Selenium (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience with REST API testing
  • Hands-on performance and load-testing experience using JMeter
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience integrating automation into GitHub Actions or equivalent
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience validating complex datasets
  • Experience with BDD/Gherkin
  • Familiarity with tools such as Xray, GitHub, Azure DevOps, SonarCloud, DataDog
  • Fluency with AI-assisted engineering tools
