About the role
- Planning and commissioning of IT infrastructures
- Administration and monitoring of Windows Servers, virtual machines, and AI systems
- Expansion and planning of network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, VPN)
- Maintenance, protection, and recovery of data using backup servers and tape libraries
- Maintenance, installation, and updating of hardware and software
- Support through documentation as well as 1st- and 2nd-level support
- Responsible for assisting in troubleshooting and handling service requests related to IT hardware, AI systems, and device technology
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Fachinformatiker (IT specialist) or an equivalent qualification
- Whether you are a career starter or already have several years of professional experience does not matter
- Knowledge of administering Windows and Linux servers as well as network technologies
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware, Proxmox)
- Experience with backup software (e.g. Veeam, Acronis)
- Ideally, initial experience with AI systems (on-premises and cloud-based)
- Reliable, meticulous working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn new topics and to work independently
- Willingness to travel across Germany and possession of a Class B driving license
