SafeRide Health is transforming access to care for America’s most vulnerable populations. We deliver technology-driven solutions that modernize non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), improving member experience and health outcomes.
As the Vice President of Product Management, AI, you will set the multi-year vision, strategy, and execution plan for AI across the SafeRide platform.
Lead and grow a team of product managers focused on AI/ML experiences, partner closely with engineering and data science, and deliver measurable business outcomes that improve reliability, efficiency, and equity of access.
This role requires a strategist-operator who can translate ambiguity into a clear portfolio and execute at pace in a regulated environment.
Own the company-wide AI product strategy and portfolio, aligned to OKRs and P&L impact; define the investment thesis, roadmap, and success metrics.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing PM team; establish hiring standards, career ladders, and coaching rituals.
Establish responsible AI governance with Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance (HIPAA), including safety/bias guardrails, model risk reviews, and privacy protections.
Drive portfolio planning and resource allocation; set operating rhythms for quarterly planning, stage gates, launch reviews, and postmortems.
Partner with Engineering and Data Science/ML to deliver AI-powered products (LLMs, RAG, classification, speech) across member communications, dispatch optimization, provider quality, fraud/waste/abuse detection, and operations tooling.
Define north-star and product-level KPIs; build a culture of experimentation with A/B tests, telemetry, and post-launch monitoring.
Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, and Customer Success on go-to-market strategy, adoption, enablement, and ROI proof points.
Lead build/buy/partner decisions for AI infrastructure, balancing time-to-value, risk, and cost; negotiate vendor contracts and manage budgets.
Champion data quality and platform readiness (feature stores, contracts, lineage, PHI/PII access controls).
Create clear artifacts (PRDs, RFCs, decision memos) to align executives, stakeholders, and the board.
Set SLOs/SLAs and drive continuous improvement for AI features in production.
