About the role
- End-to-end research ownership: You independently plan, lead, and execute complex research projects.
- Distilling insights: You are an expert at extracting the "gold nuggets" from raw data and observations.
- Strategic sparring partner: You work closely with the product team to validate hypotheses.
- Methodological excellence & advisory: You establish and maintain high standards for research methodologies across the team.
- Hands-on field testing: You validate prototypes under real-world conditions and provide insights into the context-dependence of safety.
Requirements
- Solid experience: You have at least 5 years of professional experience in user research for digital products.
- Methodological depth: You are proficient across the full range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Analytical acuity: You can identify complex behavioral patterns and translate them into clear, easy-to-understand models.
- Pragmatism & execution focus: You understand the pace of a startup and deliver "lean insights".
- Strong communicator: You can present your findings passionately and persuasively — in both German and English.
