About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop computer vision and machine learning models to support individuals living with dementia
Help build new technologies to identify staff care, elopement, and physical or behavioural changes
Train and evaluate models in production on industry-leading data
Lead the development of new AI Capabilities from inception to initial production deployment
Design, train, and evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision models for fall detection, staff monitoring, and behavioural analysis
Work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure models are performant and scalable
Partner with Product, Fleet, and DevOps teams to translate clinical needs into technical requirements
Manage and derive insights from massive datasets of real-world data
Act as a technical mentor and a bridge between departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

MSc/PhD in a quantitative field OR equivalent professional experience
Expertise in PyTorch, Python, Web Servers
Strong proficiency in AWS, WandB, Docker
Proven ability to research, build, and deploy proof of concept to the Cloud or on the edge
Proven ability to collaborate with Product and Operations teams.
Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Excellent communication skills for presenting research outcomes to various types of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences
Experience publishing research in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ICLR, etc) is valued but not required.
