About the role
- Work closely with customers and other customer facing teams to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product requirements and roadmaps
- Maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the School Bus market
- Define and document product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business goals, engineering capacity and market opportunities
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software and hardware products
- Drive product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- MBA is a plus
- Hands-on experience (8+years) as a Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably with both HW and SW experience
- Proven results in working directly with customers and delivering strong business results
- Experience in mobile products and solutions, preferable in Passenger transportation markets
- Experience in working with technology vendors and partners to create uniform solutions and integrations
- Deep understanding of product development processes and methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to translate emerging customer needs into product requirements
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple teams and locations
